LBA News

  • LBA recently renewed its Small Business Enterprise, Minority/Women Business Enterprise and Emerging Business Enterprise certifications with Denver; and its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise through the US Department of Transportation.
  • LBA and Kessler Consulting are working with Northglenn to improve diversion through it municipal operations. Key targets for evaluation include a shift to PAYT, subscription compost and optimizing drop site collection of recyclables and organics.
  • A LBA-led team has also begun working with the Town of Erie. Early efforts have included preliminary assessment of PAYT and curbside compost strategies with the town’s open hauler system; these will be more comprehensively evaluated in 2021. LBA also helped secure nearly $250,000 in RREO grant funding to capitalize this work as well as to relocate and improve Erie’s Recycling Center.
